I've run int oa problem programming a Systems Saber III. I have entered about 248 channels, and when saving I get the error message: "Not enough space to encode this codeplug" How do I get around this?

:-?

Thanks!

What other options have you installed, (MPL, Securenen tnames, MDC names?) there is a limited amount of memory in those radios. If you choose too many options and a lot of frequencies, you can go over the limit. Usually the codeplug will tell you how much memory you have used up.

I've had this problem. You're out of memory. I had to shorten names to get more space. DISPATCH now becomes DSP. shorten names till you can fit in what you need. Good luck. GARY N4KVE

Thanks guys! I didn't find anywhere that the codeplug would tell me how much space I had used. I ended up being able to fit 206 personalities in before it filled up completely.

Could always condense those AAR channels you have in there :)

Do you duplicate modes in the radio? Never played with the sys saber so I don't know if it has the assign mode/channel feature like the spectra/astro rss's.
