Is there a list from all the Motorola radio's that can do MDC?
I know that the ht1250 can do it, does the ht1250 (128channels) come with a full keypad also?
I also like to know if the HT/JT1000 is capable of doing MDC.
Greetings from The Netherlands,
GJ.

The HT1000 will do PTT/Emergency MDC1200, I am not sure about the other MDC options. I believe the JT1000 will as well, but I have no hands on experience with that radio.

The HT1000 will do most if not all MDC options with the execption of decoding (there's no display).
The JT1000 will not do MDC. I guess it's the tradeoff if you want to program the radio via the keypad...

Actually, not all HT1250's have full keypads. The common HT1250 has just six front keys. I know this for a fact as I programmed 25 for my police department last month!

PJ, does the full keypad also has 128 conventional channels?
If yes, do you have a modelnumber for me for a 400-470MHz?
I can get a six keys ht1250 UHF for $ 200 here in Holland, the US radio's are not easy to get in Holland.
Thanks again!
