I have finally finished the two hi-power spectra install in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler. Seem that the secure capable radios do not have the secure interface board in the. An earlier conversion I think. Question is, can they be key-loaded through the DB25 port or do I need a new interface board? If I need the board, who as one or two for sale? Thanks much,

I've investigated this same question, as I'm in the same boat (secure-capable, but non-secure interface board). You can probably retrofit your current interface board to be keyload-capable, but you'll need to spend about $75 or so in parts to do it.

If you want to go that route, let me know and I'll dig up and post the part numbers required.

One other bit of advice I would add, on an unrelated topic. You'll greatly extend the life of your finals, and reduce your TX current draw, if you align the high-power set point to 75W and the low-power to 55. The receive end will never notice the difference, as it's less than a 3dB change, but your radios will thank you.
