Hi!

I have two Mts-2000 portables that I bought, and they display Fail 01/82 upon power up. My service manual says it is a programming error. I try and read the radios with my MTSX software and it will not read.

I was just wanting to see if anybody can help me with these radios. I have a couple of firefighters interested in buying the radios if they came be fixed.

Please advise me via PM and a cost to repair them.

How many blocks are read before the RSS gives up on receiving from the radio? If it's during the first two blocks then there's probably nothing that can be done to it without replacing parts.

If the firmware is <5.42 then you could try jamming a codeplug in with labtools.
