Go back to the shop and seach out an Astro Spectra service manual. It will have them all listed in the book.

A new head is going to cost you and arm and leg throught Motorola. Tried to find a used one from a board member or ebay.

BTW you wouldnt have needed a control head to power up the radio and read it. Jumper pins 20 and 22 on the front db25 and it powers up the radio. I made a simple DB25 plug with a jumper from pins 20 and 22 to program and read radios without having to hook everything up.

JMR964: Do you mean you made a DB25 male with nothing but this jumper, and attached it to the 2nd DB25 female on the front, or a straight-thru adapter between the radio and the program cable?

I am talking about the remote mount units that have the control head db25 on the front. Jumper pins 20 and 22 and it powers up the radio. You can read and write to it. You don't need to have the control head hooked up. This works for astro spectras and spectras except for the A9.
