Anyone out there that has proper gear to tune Astros?

Post by akardam »

I figured I'd give a look around here on the board. Are there any of our members out there with the skills and proper gear to tune Astro radios? Some of the ones I may need tuned are parts built. They would only be used conventionally, though both analog and digital. These would not be for public safety use or anything mission critical, but I would like them to work reasonably well.

So... any takers?

Can't you do a majority of the tunning with just a service monitor?
I know there is special cables and such but there are usually work arounds.

As a newbie to the radio business I am alsways looking for more work to hone my skills. I've used differring versions of the CPS tuning software to tune sabers, astro sabers, and the xts versions. If you are willing to let me have a shot I think we should take this offline to discuss terms.
