Im not a tech so be easy on me but I have a user with 5 VHF Ht1000s that have a distinct hum in the RX its not a big enuff hum that makes the RX unreradable but its noticeable and a nuisance any body had that is this a problem in HT1000s? something in programming?

It may just be the PL tone that you are hearing from some radios. Usually the higher ones like 179.9, 203.5 etc are more audible than the rest.

yea hadnt thought about that well no wait its doing on all channels even WX channel and theyr other HTs arent doing it
