What is the difference between 0180016R09 and 0180016R10? Housing, Assembly for a Pushbutton Dash Mount Control Head.

Hmmm....

Interesting results looking it up on MOL. The R09 is $33.50 and the R10 is $19.75. Perhaps the R09 is a full assembly and R10 is just the plastic or something like that? Kinda like the way they sell the Maxtrac fronts.

They both have the same part decription on MOL and Myradiomall.com

That is what I got too looking through the SM for the spectra. But, the prices are different.
I got $28.76 for the R09 and $16.88 for the R10.
Hmm, Roll the dice and order a R10 or play it safe and order the R09?

You must be quoting the prices from MRM.com then, i think that's what they were over there.

If it were me, i would just order the R09, since it costs more it most likely includes more parts of the assembly. But then i could be wrong too. Which control head is this? A5,A7, etc..

Ok, i just looked through my VHF service manual and found the following..

0180016R09 Housing Front Cover with Keypad
0180016R10 Housing Front Cover without Keypad

So that would make me think that the R09 is the A7 and the R10 is the A5.

Also my manual has a revision sheet that shows to replace the part numbers, though the originals still show as available.

Replace R09 with 0180049S01
Replace R10 with 0180049S02

This is for a A7. Maybe, the R09 is for the A7 and the R10 is for the A5?
Also, Does anyone have the current part # for the Cover, Rubber Dust(VIP)? 7502118Z02 does not bring anything up.

I can't find a number for that cover in any of my notes but i know someone posted on here about it a while back with a new part number. Just a matter of getting the search engine to cooperate, or easier yet hopefully someone will post it here.
