I'm in need of a VHF W9 110W codeplug that can be read with RSS 9.05. The radio I have was programmed with CPS.
Many thanks!

Is it just that you want to be able to use DOS on it rather CPS? Whats the current flash and model #?

Yes, that's exactly the plan. I hate CPS and would much rather use DOS. It's taken me an hour in CPS to do what I can in 15 minutes with RSS!
I'll have to get back with that info, I'm not at the shop right now. The flash is the "superwhore" with all the bells and whistles. At minimum, I need MDC, Digital Operation, SmartZone, 255 channels.

if that's the case then you aren't using CPS right.
realize that once you are done in CPS, when/if you change radios/platforms that you can drag and drop the codeplug ACROSS MODELS and ACROSS PLATFORMS.
that feature alone is worth the transition pain.
there's a reason moto wrote CPS. it's b/c DOS has gone the way of the do do.

Yes I agree that you should get used to CPS. Once you do it is very easy to navigate. Personally I keep all my stuff at CPS Ver2 so I can go back and use dos if need be.
Get your numbers and Ill see if I can help you out.

I managed to get a 9.05 codeplug many thanks to whom sent it!
I'm still not convinced that CPS is better. Last night, I programmed about 150 channels, nothing fancy. In CPS it took me several hours (as in 6). In RSS I can do that in about an hour or two. Maybe that's just me not being used to CPS, but I'll stick to RSS! The only feature CPS gives me that would be of use is Analog RID Display which my firmware doesn't support anyway!
I'm not anti-cps, I use it on the CDM1250 all the time and have no complaints with it, I guess it's just personal preference!
