tried holding down MEM while turning the radio on, now it wont go in there.

had it a couple of times, but now it just goes to normal mode.

it is in programming mode, as i can program the channels and all that jazz, just cant get it back to SPM mode.

WTF over??

On my GP68 I didn't have to be in "programming mode" to program the radio, I just pressed X, entered the frequency, and pressed the yellow side button twice. Have you tried that?

that part works fine.. im trying to access the special programming menus, for scan editing and crap like that.
