MT1000 Scan ????

Is it possible to scan with the pl closed or dose this thing only scan with an open pl?
I cant remember if it is an option, nor can I remember where to look in the rss

If you go to f4 (create/edit) then to f8 (scan) you can change the first option to either priority/nonpriority pl or just priority/nonpriority without pl.. If you have it on Priority PL, your priority channel will stop on any signal, whether it has the correct pl or not. If you use non-priority pl, it will only stop for the correct pl
Motorola MT1000 8 ch of Scan

All Motorola MT1000 has a max of 8 ch to scan and there is
no were in theRSS to play with open or closed PL like
a HT1000 etc.

The reason for the small scan list is lack of space in the EPROM, due to more channel info.
