Is there a trick to search Motorola online
parts?
I plug in a part number click "exact match",
and I get 99 "matches".None of which is the
part I'm looking for.
I'm telling ya,I'm not impressed with Moto's
website.
I've tried it twice with 2 different part no.s
and I get the same 99 "matches".
Am I doing something wrong?
Sorry for the rant,I need a nap.

I don't seem to have a problem.

Give us a couple of samples.

Download the database from the buying centre.
Import it into excel
It takes 2 work sheets I did 1 0-9 and A-Z
Use the find function in excel
You can search by 1 letter if you have the time.

I was searching for 38-05672X49 .
Its a control head button,a 0 with a slash
through it.
Thanks for the help.

I just tried it without the hyphen, same 99
"matches".
I guess I'll have to give'em a call in the AM.
Thanks for the help.

Don't leave a space where the hyphen was. That will produce the 99 item thing you were describing.

It should look like this: 3805672X49

As I've said in the past, their search engine SUCKS!
