spectra zone setup

Hi guys i dont know how to set up zones on my A9. and can i do that to a A7 dash mount 50 watter too thanks

What radios do you own?: Motorola, Icom, Sunair (HF).

First and foremost, your Spectra's firmware needs to be of a high enough version to support zoned operation. If it is not, you're looking at $225 for a replacement memory module.

I seem to recall that versions 5.70 and above support zones. The version number should be on a label on the solder side of the MLM. You will need to open the radio to check this.

Anything higher that MLM v6.x will properly setup zones.

For best results, you will most likely need to delete all your modes and then go into the zone programming and set them up. When I last did it, thats what I had to do. Made life easier.
