W5 astro dual heads

I use a dual head astro UHF w5 radio. My question is is there a way around having to use the F/R button to switch between the 2 heads.I would like both heads to operate at the same time. I've read that its been done with the syntor 9000 .

I don't know if this would work on the Astro spectra, but by accident I found that programming two heads as "front" control heads by accident seemed to make them mirror. It didn't look "right" so I never tried it again....
Maybe that will work on your Astro Spectra....

I just thought of something. Both of these heads were "A9" so I'm not sure if it would even remotly work with the W5's. I guess worth a try.
