Question about CPS

Are there different versions of CPS for different radios or does one version cover multiple radios. I realize this might sound stupid but I'm used to Vertex and more than one radio can be programmed with some of their software. Thanks

Think of it as "families" of radios per-se (atleast with CPS).
ASTRO25 portable will program several radios including the XTS1500-XTS5000 (Except 3000)
ASTRO25 Mobile, basic same concept
as for an all in one solution, unfortunatly there is none

I notice that you said the XTS3000 can not use tha Astro portable CPS. Is there a version of CPS just for an XTS3000. If not, do you know the latest version of RSS for the XTS3000? I just bought one of these and was curious what I would need for it. Thanks

XTS3000 + Astro Saber use the same CPS.

correct, and current version is 5.00.02 for the digital saber and XTS3000
