I have a 450-470mhz. quantro. I am wondering can I push the unit up to a 477 and 478 pair much like we can do with the MSF5000?

Thanks, Rob

P.S. If I can't what would be involved in getting this unit up there??

Please any takers on this question?????

I programmed a 477 pair and a 478 pair into the box.

I got a RX fail light. Most likely I would guess the VCO is not locking.

Can I re tune the RX?

Do I have to touch the exciter or PA??

What other issues might I encounter?

my take is that NO, it will NOT work up that high.

chances are the exciter and PA will, with some (?) degrade.

you would have to change the Rx module to R3....and quite possibly the Exciter as well.
