What makes the bi color led light up green? mine only goes to green when it is just turned on!

It should go to red when you transmit. At least mine does. If I recall,
there's a setting in the program for this but I forget exactly.

Tom, it does turn red when transmitting or receiving, It just seems the Mot wouldn't waste money on a 2 color led. [must of been cheap]

It will blink green if someone select calls or pages your radio with MDC or Astro signalling.
