I came across a guy selling an NMN1012A display mic on our favorite
auction site, but there is no listing for this unit in my Y2K parts book. In
addition to the numerical pad, it also has home, mode, and light
buttons on it, along with what looks like a Mitrek mic connector. Looks
very similar to a Saber SVA 6150/6169 display mic but the display is
not as wide.

Can someone identify this unit and tell me more about it?

Yeah, If memory serves it is a special setup for a STX in a
convertacom kinda like a saber sva setup. Phrawg

That was my first though, phrawg... but you're thinking of the NMN1001D, which looks like an STX front panel in a microphone. The button labels on this NMN1012 don't seem to match up for being a trunking radio, either...

Wonder if it is a foreign version of what we are thinking of then ?
Also you are right on the button funcs not seeming to be right
for trunking. HHmmmmmm ............. :-? phrawg
