Encryption for HT-1250

Hey guys!

Well, here's one of my first posts. I have three HT-1250's and am wanting to get encryption boards for them. Don't need anything super fancy, but I would like it to be better than voice inversion. Any recommendations on what I could get that is reasonably priced? Say, $150-200 per board? I just don't really want the whole world listening in on my conversations - part of the world is okay, so no need for 3DES or AES.

Thanks,
Wicho.

There are several companies which offer plug & play boards for the HT1250 series. Here's a good one:

I asked the same question a month ago. Not much of a response.

I use transcrypt 460 boards and they work great.

Thanks for the responses. I had read up a bit on the Transcrypt boards - how much do the 460 boards run, and are they something that are user installable?

Thanks for the help.
