ht1000 abc switch program question

I looked at most of the search lists regardig the probliem, and i can't seem to find a answer can somebody tell me or point me,

i am trying to program the abc switch on a ht1000, I am in the program I see all the slections, I select the ones that I want, program into the radio, but they don't stay, is there a step that I don't know about or a "f" key that I should push to save the slection

Jeffery, you aren't missing a step. That should be all there is to it. Did you try programming in a different selection, to see if it takes? Are you trying to program the switch to perform a function that a side button is already programmed for? It shouldn't let you, or at least the version I have won't let you. The only other thing I can think of is that your radio revision won't support the option you are trying to program into it.
