I'm planning to program a UHF MT1000 with a QCII System on Channel 16.

Will the radio Alert when in CSQ mode or will it only alert when in QCII squelch?

It will alert in CSQ mode also. The only thing that I have noticed (at least with mine) is that it wont alert when in scan mode, even when the QC channel is the priority.
