On the TPN1131A Hi voltage Power Supply, what part # is the power control board? Is it TLN5701A or TRN8578A? If it's the TLN5701A then what is the TRN8578A for? Thanks in advance.

Micor HVPS Part #
If a train station is where a train stops, what is a work station?
Maybe it is for a later version of the TPN1131. My manual is 68P81022E11-D (part of 68P81022E90-E) with SMR revisions up through 1982 and I don't see any alternative to the TLN5701A. The only revision on that board was a part # change for C1 and C2.tkiuntke wrote:It looks like the TLN5701A without the SCR.
The SCR controlls the 300VDC PA Screen circuit. If that is omitted, I would suspect it is for another version of the power supply to work with a different PA.
The TPN1131A is the 120 volt, 60 Hz. model, and the TPN1135A is the dual voltage(120/240) volt, 50 Hz.
Different line frequencies to deal with.
And from the manual, the diodes are not part of the power control module (TLN5701A), but that module does contain the SCR (Q51)(M9349).
CR1-CR4 feed the H.V metering PA current (Wht-Red) and (Wht-Grn).
