Hi Everyone,
I bought a mts2000 vhf top display radio off ebay, the radio model is H01KDD9PW1BN, The Radio should be able to do trunking but for some reason when trying to access the F4 in the DOS RSS it say's "NOT AVAILABLE in this MODEL. WHAT do I have to do to get it to allow trunking? the flashcode is H35-00000A-000009 or something close top that. Thanks

The radio has to be flashed for trunking in order for you to access it. From the looks of your flashcode, and it having H35, my guess is that it will not do trunking as is. You need to have it flash upgraded to include your flavor of trunking, whether it be an H37 or H38 sytem package as an example.

Lets not think to fast here. There are alot of factors that determain if you can clone another codeplug into it. First, what is the firmware version in the radio? Second, if your firmware version is above R05.42, you are pretty much SOL as far as cloning. Third, if you attempt to clone another codeplug into it with a certain RSS that your not supposed to have, and your firmware is above R05.42, you will brick your radio.
The easiest thing for you to do is, contact your local "M" service center and explain what you want the radio to do. What you need is a flash upgrade, and you need to have them order a flashkey with the options you want to add to the radio. You will also get new firmware with the flash upgrade. These are about your basic options. Do a search on the board, your questions have come up many times before. I'm sure that you can find the info your looking for on here by reading around.

The only thing that you can really do to it with that firmware being above R05.42 is to do a legit flash upgrade and add H38 to the radio. Unfortunately, you are pretty much handcuffed on what you can do to that radio without turning it into a very nice paper weight for your desk.
