What do new GP68s go for?

What do new GP68s go for?

I see a bunch of them on ebay from Hong Kong for CHEAP. How much are they, new?

When they were being sold, against Motorola's wishes, in the USA a
few years ago they would go for maybe $240.00 new in the box. But
Motorola won't fix them here if there are any problems, so in effect if
you were to find a "new" one it would be without any warranty. The
radio was intended for the Asian market.

It was/is a great radio, though it has no alpha display, only the
frequency.

I'd be leery buying one from overseas as Customs would consider it contraband without a FCC acceptance # Might make it in, it might not.
Who would EBay/PayPal leave on the hook if it got snatched, buyer or seller ? They come up here periodically in the buy/sell forum, safer bet.
