CDM1550LS+ Ignition sense

I was going to hook up the ignition switch feature on a CDM1550LS+.

Question- when set to on/off ingition, will the radio power on and off with the ignition sense or just turn off when sense is lost?

It will power on and off with the ignition, and you will still be able to use the on and off switch on the radio.

Make sure you set the CPS so that it follows ignition AND allow operation of the power switch.

I've seen these radios when set only for ignition not power up for whatever reasons then you have no external means of turning the radio on.
