GP680

I want to program more then 16 channels innto my GP680, i know i can use the GP380 that has more channels, i need to change the model innside this CPS, how?

that info is in the firmware, altering the codeplug won't change it. same with the band limits.

You have to change the firmware into the gp-380's one. You need firmware files and a flashrib to change the gp-680 into a gp-380. Then you have 255 channels, scanning and more....

Where do i get the firmware then? And can i use the RIBLESS cable that i have, to do this?

What PIN is used to FLASH the radio?

A good start is to read the information on Batlabs :lol:

Pin 12 is used for flashing, ribless cable (if fully wired/modified) can do this. Firmware is NOT found here (even asking is a forbidden).

if you have a valid copy of your cps and it's within it's 3 year period, the firmware is free from motorola along with your cps updates.

You have to flash the radio with the Professional Series lab flashtool.
