hey gang
i was looking at my gmrs license and at the botton it reads
"licencees who operate north of line A and east of line C may not operate on 462.650, 467.650,462.700 and 467.700"
what lines are they talking about?
i couldnt find anything on the fcc web-site.
any idea's?

The intent of the rule is to not interfere with Canadian stations. Canada allows GMRS but only special lower power radios.bayfire300 wrote:hey gang

You also have restrictions in the National Radio Quiet Zone, but since I'm in NYC I never read through the entire thing:

There may also be restrictions near the Arecibo Radio telescope in Puerto Rico. I only to get to PR once a year so it doesn't affect me too much.
