Need a IMBE ASIII code plug

Post by bwigg »

I have a VHF VSELP ASIII that I am going to convert to IMBE. I plan on using a VOCON from a ASI that is flashed with 100001-000000-7. The problem I have is that if I force my existing vselp 84xxxxx flash into the new vocon I loose IMBE. If I use the existing ASI IMBE vocon 100001-000000-7 flash I loose the ASIII functions such as keypad and display. Of course the ASI IMBE record can not be edited into a a ASIII in you know what RSS, only VSELP records. So I guess what I need to get is a s-record of a ASIII VHF IMBE radio. The way I understand it, is if the flash starts with a odd number it's IMBE, so my existing flash prefixed with a 8 kills the IMBE. Hopefully somebody here can help me overcome this problem. BTW I did take note of all my softpot settings so I can restore them.

TIA
Billy
