Batboard

I have some older radios and was curious if the older Quick Call will help me with a small problem.... Is there a way to trigger the radio to turn on an LED if a call from another party was received? Kind of like cellphones saying "X-Calls Missed". Was wondering if Quick Call would take care of this? At the very least it would set off a page tone that is louder then plain voice.... Obviously the radios would need to be programmed to "expect" each other. Some of these are HT1000's. I'm assuming I would need the MDC panel on the front or not?
