I HATE the styling of the basic speakermic for the PR400.

Is there any way to cut the end off the speakermic with a jedi (ht1000) connector, and replace with a PR400 connector? Or are they simply not compatable?

Instead of going to all the trouble of trying to make two things work together that weren't necessarily designed to do so, why not look at second source manufacturers like Otto Engineering, Klein, or any of a half dozen others?

Otto makes most of Motorola's speaker mics.
