hey.

has anyone heard of the pro series lab software. someone said that if you have this software you can convert vhf to uhf or uhf to vhf. anyone know if this is true?

I have never heard of Lab being able to do that. These radios are made to cover specific bands and software cannot change electronics.

yes, there is a version for use by the depot that will allow such things.

it's not available for sale - and any version "in the wild" would not be legal....
