I Have a ht1250 that won't turn. battery is good any hepl?

did you just get it and it didn't work or did it just stop working one day. what color is the rubber ring around the power contacts on the back of the radio?

We have alot of these portable I don't know if it ever came on before.

Try replacing the pico fuse in the radio. I bet once it's replaced, the radio comes back to life. 
I've witnessed them blow for no apparent reason.
