CDM1250 Delay
Hello,
I have a CDM1250 Motorola and this thing when receiving is horribly slow when it comes to RXing a signal even while its not on scan. On my HT1250 it opens right up when a signal is transmitted but not this radio... Any settings that I can change in the software to fix this problem.

time
Go to radio configuration and then to the scan tab in the CPS. Then set the scan hang time. I have mine set to 750.

Update
Ok... After reading the radio I found that my Scan Hangtime was 1000ms and my DOS Auto Mute thing was 500 so I changed the scan hangtime to 750ms and changed the auto mute to 25 working great now
Thanks.
Thanks.
These radios are horrible on PL/DPL decode time- especially if using DPL.
They are so slow that when using DPL, if your QCII "A" tone is too short, it will not decode a QCII call. Disabling PL/DPL on RX will allow fast response if you are alone on the frequency and don't get bothered by another user.

This is an old thread, but I was hoping for a follow up?
I'm having the same problem.
When NOT scanning, the CDM1250 picks up the RX about a second after my scanner does.
I do have the MDC on the receive.
I frequently miss acknowledgments.
Above they mention the scan hang time, but the radio is not scanning.
Changing PL to DPL is not an option.
Thanks

They are also not suggesting changing from PL to DPL. They are saying set it for NO PL or DPL (CSQ). That will show if it is a slow PL/DPL decode or it is the DOS mute.
