Programming GP350 Scan Lists?

I am trying to program a GP350 with 2 modes positions with the scan function. I want a different scan list for each of these. I can program 2 modes as scan (mode 1 and 16) and set the scan list members as different for each list but when I write and then read the radio the scan lists are the same.

There is a setting on the Change Mode page for the scan modes for a Scan List number but mode are set for list 01. It won't let me change it.

Is this a bug with the RSS? Is there a version that works?

Wrong! My RSS manual states that there can be up to 4 preprogrammed scan lists.

If it is like my GP300 I had a similar problem.. I ended up deleting both scan modes and programming the radio without them.. I then read the codeplug and created two new modes for scan.. That was the only way I could get mine to work. If I used the existing scan modes they would end up the same no matter what I tried.. Hence the delete.... Not sure if that will help but that is what I had to do to fix my issues...

That worked! I deleted both scan lists and readded them.

It looks like, at least in my version of the RSS, when you add a new Scan mode it automatically sets it to the next available Scan List #(i.e adding the second Scan mode set itself to Scan List 02). If you then go into Change and change the Scan List # for any number greater than 01 (even if you change it back before you leave the screen) it gets confused. When you go back to the Change mode screen again you will see it will have changed that scan list # to 01 and won't let you change it back. So I guess the solution is to add your scan lists and don't EVER change the Scan List # or you won't be able to change it back without deleting and readding. I call that another RSS bug.....

Thanks for the tip.
