I picked up an 800 Mhz Visar.. and my normal RSS does not seem to work.
What version of RSS is needed to program it?

( Its a Type II trunking....not a Privacy Plus..)

Nope, it won't. Visar Conventional is programmed with the same stuff that does HT1000. You need "VISARPP", or Visar Privacy Plus. I don't have the part number handy, unfortunately.
