I hear from people that the PR 1500 can be upgraded to apco 25 by flashing the radio, want to know will this be available to someone like me who just owns one. will it be only avaiable to agencies???

also while on this topic does the MT 1500 offer the apco 25 flash upgrade as well???....

anyone on the board have one of these units, if so how do they perform, and bugs in the radios like the ht 1250,s series??

there was quite a long discussion on this forum about the PR1500. Most people said that it out performed their HT1000's. Haven't heard of any bugs, but my Pr1500 demo's haven't showed up yet so I haven't played with them, yet. Anything I have heard on this board about the PR1500 is very very positive
