Batboard

Hey all
I have an MTS 2000, and the third side button is programmed as the monitor/open squelch control. Sometimes it works, other times when I press the button all I get is a tone. Any ideas? Thanks!

is it conventional only or does it have trunking also?

a previous mt2000 (conv only) had a problem where it would press two buttons at once. Bad flex cable. You press the top button and it would active sb1 and sb2. It seemed to be intermittent though.

Ah, OK. It's a conventional MTS. I'll have to check the flex cable. Thanks!
