Anyone familiar with the Harris Digital VersaT1lity Microwave system, items such as the DVA, DVM, MUX, ect....

I have been sent to clear some alarms that keep re-occuring such as an RCS alarm...


I am having some other alarm issues..


If someone can email me or PM me so we can share some notes or something I would greatly appreciate it..

Do you run fullvision or Moscad?
I don't use Harris myself. I use Stratex but when there is a alarm you can find a lot more information off the snmp traps displayed in fullvision.
If you are running a Moscad system look at the logs.

I believe the far-end software application running is NetBoss maybe...??

What flavour radio system is it.
It looks like a simulcast but is it part of a smartzone.
If so contact the system administartaor and find out if he has full vision and ask him to check the alarms at site xx
These alarms will give you lots of clues.
Also the programming package for the Harris sytem should also be available and this should also give detailed information on the alarms and tell you how to deal eith them.

What's the LCD panel telling you? It should be displaying the actual alarm.

Have you opened up the doors on the DVM to see if any of the cards have red fault lights?
