You should have made a ballot for "middle of the road". I would not call it awsome but I wouldnt bash it too much either. It's a decent replacement for the HT1000.

I just got mine a couple of weeks ago. I LOVE it! Great radio...I hear rumors that M is going to fix the issue regarding visual/audio indicator of scan.
