Portable radio information

Post by VSP5151 »

I have an Motorola portable radio charger that has 3 lights on front, SC, HS and Y-D1. What do they mean/ Also there is a slide switch on the rear of the charger that is marked H/L. What does that mean also? THANKS

You have an overseas aftermarket charger

I believe Y-D1 means that power input is on/good

HS Means charging

Unknown on the other

I believe that the H/L switch is for input power AC 120/220 volts

I had one of these for a kenwood TK-2107 radio that was purchased overseas, biggest piece of crap that I ever owned.
