Gator Ignition Noise - Solved!

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the solution! Here's how it breakes down:
1. Lined the motorcycle radio housing with copper foil tape. No appreciable difference.
2. Installed Motorola DC Line Filter. 50-60% for the better.
3. Covered the ignition coils and wires with copper foil tape. 90-95% for the better.
4. Installed 32000 uf capacitors on the alternator, ignition module, and to ground from the DC source for the radio. 100% better.

There's still a minute amount of noise on VERY distant stations, but they aren't reliably copiable, anyway.

Can you post this resolution in your origional thread? This way the problem and the solution will go together. That way if someone searches - they have a chance of seeing the problem and the solution in one thread!

Just watch the covered wires in the water- many plug wires will short to ground once wet of they are covered.
Give them the "spray test"
