ok i got a cdm1250 to replace a gm300, it recieves perfect but it won't send signal to the transmitter, i'm using pin 8 out but i think i saw somewhere that theese radios were digital out, does that mean i need a cdm1250 or 750 for the transmitter too?

Did you program it for pin 8 out? The default I believe just has pin 3 ext ptt programmed and the rest set for null.

Have you actually checked with a volt meter to see if it swings low with a valid signal? I have had no issues when using CDM-1250's with Rick repeater controllers and IP-223's. With a volt meter it shows 12.5v idle and .003 with a valid signal. Possibly you have a bad radio there, I have a M10 here that has no output on Pin 8 but has an active HI of 6.5v between pin 7 and 1.

Once again I would check with a volt meter between pin 8 & 7 and see if the CDM is being pulled low with a valid signal into the receiver.
