Hi all,
I' ve tried to search for this question but found nothing.
The question is: I've heard is possible to simply connect by an interface cable two mc micro / m110 to make a repeater / transponder. As I'm interested in a ham repeater, I would like to know if that's true and how to make the cable. Does it needs also some programming settings?
OR: in case the cable doesn't exists, I'would know where I can find a squelch bus into the radio (possibly including tone squelch control) in order to drive the ptt of the other radio with a little circuit.

You will not find a ready-to-fit cable, but you can fabricate it by your own.
Looking on the controller board you will notice some named (A,B,C...) test points.
Using a voltmeter, try to locate the testpoint that has the busy and discriminator audio signal you need. Then route them to the 9pin sub-d acc connector. You can remove some useless (like emerg oper) pin connections to put the signals you need. Since I don't remember if the discriminator signal exist on these test points, you can get the raw audio from the pins that connect the controller board to the RF board.

P.S. To locate the discriminator audio signal the voltmeter is not of great help... what about an oscilloscope?

I would thank You for Your kind answer. Probably the first thing to do is to find the squelch (busy) test point. For the audio, in the worst case I'll use the speaker output and the mic input with some attenuation, also if it will pass through the deenphasis and enphasis. See You soon!
