P1225 issue- I need some help

2ch 450-470 P1225, was working great, I let a buddy of mine use it for a road trip and it just died.
It was being used inside a vehicle, so I am 99% sure its not water damage, considering we were on the "roads" in Northern Maine, I suppose it was probably subjected to some dust, but the inside is still clean.
do these have a pico fuse in them?
Anyone here willing to repair it, or at least look at it? I only spent $60 on it, and can replace it for close to that, so I'm not looking to dump a lot of cash into it.
If somebody reputable on the board is willing to look at it for me, please PM me. I am quite a ways from a Motorola dealer so shipping it out would be easiest, and I know there are people here who can help, plus if its fubared you may end up with a cheap parts unit.
