Soft ID on conventional

Post by dxon2m »

Does anyone know if soft ID can be used on conventional channels? I have it working great on ASTRO but I would like to enable it on conventional as well.

Thank you

It works fine on conventional channels - conventional being the opposite of 'trunking' - as long as the channel is P25.

On the other hand, if you meant analog channels, obviously it won't work since soft ID is a digital function that works using the embedded data capability of the P25 Common Air Interface.
