mic on mc2500

How do you lower the mic gian on themc 2500 base radio it is turned up too high and gets feed back?
First off, is the line level set correctly?
Internal condenser mic
Adjust R119
Handset mic
Adjust R83
Deskmic
Adjust R95
These are covered in the installation manual. If you have access to Motorola Online, the manual is available to download. It is about 15 meg in size.
