Some Saber 3 Questions

I loved my Saber Is so much that I just picked up a pair of Saber 3s. But now, a few questions:
- How do I remove the speaker-mic adapter (Hirose?) from the back? I removed the (very long) screw, but it doesn't lift up too easily. Am I supposed to be using some force? I'm just afraid of breaking something.
- Is there a user's manual or the like online?

I've figured out some of the stuff, but I'm still missing a good percentage of it. (What, for example, does the double-hump icon mean? Or the bold asterisk?)

don't force it.... after you remove the screw it should come out the bottom 1st... It has a J type hook at the bottom...
the best I can do from memory. maybe someone else will post more detail

The problem is that there's also a piece that goes over (?) the antenna 'jack,' which keeps me from moving it. I'm thinking I want an up-and-to-the-back movement going, but it's still not coming off.

Unscrew the antenna extender. It's part of the Hirose
unit and screws into the antenna fixture on the radio.
Don't force anything. If you loosen the antenna extender
and unscrew the bolt on the back the adapter should
literally fall off the radio. I just sat here and did it.
The "hump" symbol means that the transmit channel
is different from the receive channel, so in effect you're
on a repeater channel.
The asterisk is the radio's way of asking you to input
data via the keypad; it also means it's okay to input
data to the keypad.
User guides for standard Sabers appear for sale every
so often on eBay. They are very helpful, especially for
understanding password operations, scanning operations,
etc. etc.

Oh, like
that! I never knew the extender itself came out.
Thanks a bunch.
