XTS2500 encryption upgrade? info

We have a bunch of H46KDF9PW6AN XTS2500s here with a flashcode of 100001-000000-7 (conventional, ASTRO digital CAI) and inquired to our /\/\ salesperson about upgrading some of them to be capable of AES encryption. This is just for FYI but here was the /\/\ federal plant's response:
-----
The XTS2500 is upgradeable to AES as long as the radio has a display. A model 1 radio is not compatible with encryption. To do this upgrade, you will need to order the appropriate encryption kit (includes hardware and software) and a radio software refresh. The encryption kit depends on the model of radio you want to upgrade and the algorithm you select.
There is hardware installation required to perform this upgrade.
The XTS2500 can only support one algorithm, so the customer would need to select AES or DES-OFB.
And, if the customer needs to have more than one key loaded at a time, they would need to order a multi-key flash upgrade as well.
The model number given below is for a Model 2 radio. So to add AES you would need:
PMLN4927A SECURE BOARD M2 AES 205
Then from the flashport side, you would need the standard refresh (Q880AC) and multi-key. The multikey flash upgrade is not available on ECAT yet, but if the customer is interested in that, [motorola] can let them know when that kit is available.
