Saber battery charging questions......

Can someone please tell me what the standard and rapid charger uses as far as voltage in concerned when charging Saber batteries. I received 3 brand new Ni-Cad's for free and don't have a charger yet. I have plenty of ways to temporarily charge them initially for 32 hours (slow charge), but I need to know the charging voltages... 7.5 ? 12? 17.5 ?

Since you have no charger, the easiest solution is to use a 9 volt wall cube that outputs at least 100 mA, and then charge the battery for 14 hours, with 16 max.

As long as the actual working current is never too high, you should not have to worry about burning up the batteries even with this lashup.

The standard voltage is 7.5 volts per pack, capacity independent.
