I have a Compaq V2311 AMD Turion and I was wondering it was possible to install 2 OS's on this laptop... It currently has XP Home on it but I want to load WIN 98 on it also so I can program older radios.
Please help me how to do it.

you need to install the software on a seperate partition. there should be an option for this when the windows setup starts up. you must install it to a seperate partition then follow the prompts.

So will I have to reinstall Windows XP to get this new partition setup or can do it another route?

You can use Partition Magic to resize the current partition and put space at the end for a Fat32, then use PQBoot to select which O/S you want to boot on startup.
It's an easy follow the prompts job with Partition Magic.

What radios are we talking about? If they are older units, that maching won't program them.
